Our Painting Intensive is a two-week course geared for the most serious and dedicated pre-college students. Students will cover overarching painting concepts that relate to understanding and developing skills around essential foundations. The ‘big ideas’ include being able to use formal techniques such as color, value, texture, and more through the oil painting medium.
- Gain experience using oil paint, linseed oil and thinners
- Demonstrate understanding of color and brushwork
- Complete a series of studies and one final oil painting
