3D Sculpture Paintings

Students will create paintings that function both as a 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional works of art. Students will be challenged to build protruding plaster forms onto their canvas that directly correlate with the theme of their painted surface. We will explore techniques in painting with acrylic while using plaster to build sculptural forms.
